The Snackerator, an online Calgary Stampede Midway food generator, was originally created as a side-goof with my old co-worker Mason Hastie. When the COVID-19 pandemic came in 2020 and the annual fair was forced to cancel, Mason and I decided to rewrite, redesign and reboot the generator as a way to spend (remote) time together and make ourselves laugh. Our labour of love wound up being featured on the CBC. The full experience is sleeping now, but here are some highlights.
